On Italia’s Got Talent this year, an incredible mentalist wowed the judges with a mind-reading trick. Her blindfolded assistant correctly guessed several objects in extreme detail.
The mentalist’s name is Eleonora di Cocco, and she’s been performing for almost 30 years. Watch her amazing Italia’s Got Talent audition below, and read on to find out more about her.

Mentalist Wows ‘Italia’s Got Talent’
Eleonora performed the trick with her assistant Chiara, who sat in a chair with a blindfold around her eyes after Eleonora hypnotized her. The show confirmed that Chiara could not see through the blindfold.
The Italia’s Got Talent judges then proceeded to hold up various objects, including a mug, a guitar pick, and a cell phone. Chiara correctly guessed all of them. Eleonora claimed that Chiara was seeing the objects through her thoughts.

Judge Frank Matano even took a 50-euro bill out of his wallet, and Chiara guessed not only the amount, but the serial number on the bill. The judges were stunned by the trick.
At one point, judge Joe Bastianich asked if Chiara could be turned away from the front of the stage to prove she couldn’t see anything. Eleonora allowed this, and Chiara still guessed correctly, even knowing the time on a watch.

The audience gave Eleonora a standing ovation for her performance, and the judges praised her. She received four “yes” votes to move on to the next stage of the competition.

Eleonora reportedly started her career in 1993, performing in Italy and around the world. She’s also appeared on various television shows in Italy, and has been dubbed the “princess of magic.”
Unfortunately, Eleonora didn’t win Italia’s Got Talent 2021. Instead, the prize went to another magician, Stefano Bronzato. Check out one of Eleonora’s old magic performances in the video above.
